Los productores ya se pueden inscribir a las diversas actividades que incluyen charlas técnicas online, días de campo y un seminario de avances recientes.
“Se acabó el fuego pero el incendio continúa”. Con esa frase, el decano de Agronomía de la Universidad de Concepción, Guillermo Wells, resumió el espíritu del seminario “Herramientas de manejo técnico de agroecosistemas afectados por incendios”, organizado por la facultad a comienzos de abril para discutir cómo enfrentar los incendios que, tal como los que afectaron a los agricultores y habitantes del sur del país durante el verano, se proyecta seguirán ocurriendo durante los próximos años.

Last Friday, May 7, the UC Davis Chile Extension and Innovation Program was launched. In the activity, held via streaming, María Emilia Undurraga, Minister of Agriculture; Mauricio Cañoles, General Manager of UC Davis Chile; Tomás Labbé, fruit tree advisor, and Raimundo Arnaiz, walnut producer and General Manager of Agrícola Vista Volcán participated as panelists.

La iniciativa, organizada por la Universidad de California Davis en Chile y Prunova, se enmarca en el Programa de Extensión e Innovación de Ciruelo Europeo que busca generar innovación en el rubro.
